Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are set to tie the knot on January 24 in Alibaug. The preparations for the wedding are on in full swing as the beach resort, The Mansion House, is being decked up for the D-Day. Yesterday, pictures from the wedding venue made their way to the internet where it was seen that structures were being erected at the private property to thwart photographers from taking pictures and videos during the ceremonies.
As informed earlier, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal's wedding will be an intimate affair with only close family and friends in attendance. The e-invites were sent to the guests just a few days before the wedding date to keep the wedding a secret. FIRST, VARUN-NATASHA'S LOVE STORY
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dhawan have been in a relationship for years now. They knew each other since school, however, their love story started years after school when they met at a music concert. They started talking and going out together and soon love blossomed. Initially, Natasha, being a total non-filmy and shy person, didn't want to come in the public eye and therefore the couple kept their relationship hidden. While they were often spotted together on events and dates by paparazzi, they never confirmed that they are dating.
It was on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan Season 6 episode when Varun Dhawan for the first time talked about being in a relationship with Natasha Dalal. He said that they are serious and soon going to get married. Since then, the news of their wedding kept making headlines every other day. And now finally, the lovebirds are going to become man and wife.
WEDDING INVITES AND PREPARATIONS
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal's wedding was again the talk of the town when their family members started sending out e-invites to selected guests. Varun's mom and dad requested the guests to make themselves free from Jan 22 to Jan 24 for the wedding festivities. The guests were informed that the wedding will take place at a resort in Alibaug with all Covid-19 safety precautions.
Karan Johar, who launched Varun Dhawan with his 2012 film Student of The Year, is also going to attend the wedding. However, SRK will not be able to make himself available for the occasion as he is in bubble for Pathan shoot.
Recently, David Dhawan was spotted at Manish Malhotra's store with his elder son Rohit Dhawan and daughter-in-law Jhanvi. It seems the dulhawallahs aregoing to wear Manish Malhotra creations for the wedding. About the bride trousseau, not much is known. Since Natasha herself is a fashion designer with forte in bridal and wedding wear, her wedding dress is surely going to be out of this world.
WEDDING VENUE: THE MANSION HOUSE
After many days of speculation, it was recently revealed that the wedding ceremonies will be held at The Mansion House in Alibaug. A luxury beach resort, The Mansion House boasts of its classy white design and architecture with exotic poolside surrounded by lush coconut trees. The property has 25 rooms and is preferred to host private parties. As per a report in cntraveller.in, the cost of booking the entire property including meals is Rs 4 lakh per night. The Mansion House is located at a quaint village in Alibaug, and is at a walking distance from the Sasawane beach. Boat rides from the beach to the property are also available.
The wedding guests will stay at three villas in Alibaug for the three days of wedding ceremonies. The three villas are The Palm Court, The Cove Room and The Sky Deck Room.
