Indian Politicians and their bizarre solutions to the novel Coronavirus: A sneak-peak

Amid the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, some Indian Politicians have crossed all bars with their bizarre comments and imaginations about the virus which will make you bewildered. From ‘Gaumutra’ to ‘mental illness’, these politicians have explanations that is as ‘peculiar’ as them. Here’s what they said-

"We all know that cow dung is very helpful. Likewise, when cow urine is sprayed, it purifies an area... I believe something similar could be done with 'gaumutra' and 'gobar' to cure Coronavirus (disease)," said the BJP MLA during a discussion on smuggling of cattle to Bangladesh during Special Mention on the first day of the budget session of the Assembly.

"Corona is not a virus, but avatar for the protection of poor creatures. They have come to give the message of death and punishment to the one who eats them," said Swami Chakrapani further stating that the avatar is of Lord Narsingh.

He also urged Chinese President to “create an idol of Corona and seek forgiveness” and asked all the non-vegetarian Chinese population to “pledge of not harming any innocent creatures in future, then the anger of Corona will come down”. Additionally, he mentioned that Indians who ‘worship Gods’ and are believers of ‘GauRakshak’ need not worry as they are immune to the disease.

"There should be a probe to find out if the spread of the virus originated from Sonia Gandhi's home," Hanuman Beniwal remarked on Thursday, inviting a furor in the parliament.

He claimed that the virus may have emerged for the “house” of Sonia Gandhi. This comment was followed by the return of Rahul Gandhi from Italy, and a large number of coronavirus positive patients in the country have been to Italy.

The Chief Minister of UP was addressing and encouraging the practice of Yoga at the YogMahotsav Event in Rishikesh on Sunday where he said that Coronavirus can be prevented by overcoming “mental illness”.

"The world needs to be free of illnesses of the body and mind. If one overcomes mental illness, then one can avoid diseases such as blood pressure, heart attack, kidney failure, liver issues and even the coronavirus”, said Yogi Adityanath to the audience.
